Amish Baked BBQ Burgers ~ Oven Baked Barbecue Hamburger Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 to 2 pounds ground beef
1 cup crushed crackers (saltines) or bread crumbs
1 cup crushed butter crackers
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
salt and black pepper

Mix crushed crackers, bread crumbs and milk together. Let set for 5-10 minutues.
*Mix above ingredient together in a bowl. Do not overmix.
Form patties and fry on each side until crust forms. Do not cook all the way through.

Sauce:
1 cup ketchup
1 cup water
4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
4 tbsp. sugar
*Mix above ingredient together

2 large onions – sliced about 1/4″ thick

Place a little of the BBQ sauce on bottom of baking pan. Place in burgers and put slice of onion on each burger. Pour remaining BBQ sauce over top of burgers.

Bake 325 degrees F for 1 hour
Enjoy!
